About Me:
I notice things others pass by.
I love summer and adventure.
I need to create things be it gardens,recipes,stories,pictures.
I’m a daydreamer- always have been, hope I always will be.
I love to look at colors, patterns, fonts, art.
I’m unable to resist the lure of patterns & textures in a craft store.
I collect things.
I’m always sketching & scribbling.
Ideas are swirling in my head at all times.

Starting on my creative career journey in 1997 I enrolled in the local community college to study Graphic Design. I received both a certificate in Desktop Publishing & an AA degree in Graphic Design summa cum laude.  After having several jobs in the creative field over the next decade, I must admit I never found the perfect outlet for my design degree.

While unemployed in 2008 I began to focus on photography as my creative outlet. I had always enjoyed taking pictures but resisted turning it into “work” because I did not want to take the enjoyment out of it. I finally started to call my photography “work” and realized that  “work” was only a label. The more I worked as a photographer the more I enjoyed it. Now I can’t imagine any other career. I feel as though I have found my true calling in life and it feeds my need for constant change. Photography satisfies me in a way that no other form of creating does.

I love the hunt for the next shot.
I live for the chase to become the photographer I want to be.
I acquire new skills everyday.
I am dedicated to improving my craft .
I hope my love for it is reflected in my work.
