0 The talent, make-up and yours truly arrived around 4:00pm at The Carriage Mill Building downtown Amesbury and began immediately getting ready. The talent headed towards wardrobe and make-up while I began to shoot as the crew created the set and perfected lighting. The filming began around 5:30pm and stopped just after 11:00pm. During the shoot it was my job to capture the crew & cast in a photojournalistic style from various angles while they were working on set.
This shoot showed me the behind the scenes happenings of a network television on location commercial shoot. I learned a great deal from this experience and I’m happy to have been hired to document it!
The images presented here include the crew/behind the scenes shots in b&w and the cast scenes in color. I choose to do this to help illustrate the different feel of the work portion of the shoot and the polished looked of the cast & set.
**Prior to the shoot I was asked to provide assistance with Lady Luck’s wardrobe. Once Brie was cast she and I collaborated on looks and provided the producers with several options. From that they found their vision dress and in the end we could not have achieved the look they were going for without the help of the Custard Shoppe who created the custom apron for Brie’s wardrobe. THANKS JO!**
